Our Approach
TDEE.page is designed to minimize data collection. Calculator inputs should be processed in your browser unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
Calculator Data Processing
When you use the TDEE calculator, the information you enter (age, gender selection, height, weight, activity level, and optional body fat percentage) is processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. The calculator result is also generated in your browser. These calculator inputs and results are:
- Not sent to a calculator API
- Not stored in an application database
- Not sold or shared for advertising
- Not used to create a personal health profile
When you close or refresh the page, your calculator inputs are not intentionally preserved by TDEE.page.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not require account creation.
- We do not store your calculator inputs on any server.
- We do not sell or share personal information.
- We do not use invasive fingerprinting techniques.
- We do not track individual calculator usage patterns.
Like most websites, the hosting provider may create basic request logs needed to operate and secure the site. These logs are not designed to include the calculator inputs you type into the page.
Analytics
As of the current version, no analytics services are implemented on TDEE.page. If privacy-respecting analytics are added in the future, this page will be updated to reflect exactly what is collected and why.
Local Storage
TDEE.page uses your browser's local storage to remember your theme preference (light mode, dark mode, or system default). This data stays in your browser and is not used to identify you. The current calculator does not intentionally save age, height, weight, gender selection, body fat percentage, activity level, or results to localStorage.
Copy / Share Feature
If you use the "Copy Results" feature, the summary text is placed on your clipboard. This is a local browser action. No data is sent to our servers when you copy results.
Cookies
TDEE.page does not set tracking cookies. The only browser storage used is for theme preference as described above.
Third-Party Services
TDEE.page uses font files served from the application bundle (self-hosted). No external third-party scripts, ad networks, or social media trackers are loaded.

If our privacy practices change, this page will be updated. We commit to keeping this explanation simple, honest, and up to date.
